Dear List,
I am having some problems getting qmail-scanner 1.23 working correctly on my machine. The system is as follows:
CentOS 3.1 ClamAV 0.72 Spamassassin 2.55-3.1
After install qmail-scanner I do "./contrib/test_installation.sh -doit" which fails with:
"Sending standard test message - no viruses... qmail-inject: fatal: qq temporary problem (#4.3.0) Bad error. qmail-inject died"
Qmail-Scanner has logged the following to Syslog:
"Aug 8 12:18:47 anima X-Qmail-Scanner-1.23: [anima.epicideas.net10919639274825056] owner of unpacked files (uid=0) doesn't match UID of Qmail-Scanner (uid=500) - can't expect this to work. Fix whatever is creating files with uid=0"
This seems to be a permissions problem somewhere but I don't understand where! I've created the qscand user so I don't know what it means by "creating files as uid=0".
I'd really appreciate any help.
