Unfortunately, either you didn't understand my question, or I'm not understanding your answer. Of course the messages will eventually end up in your help desk application. What I want to know is, who/what is routing these messages, currently, to an Exchange mailbox, and will they be changing that routing to a mailbox that YOU specify when they "break" your use of Exchange? In other words, if you install Postfix and a popd on your current help desk server box, and tell _the_responsible_OPs_ to route those emails to helpd...@yourbox.yourcompnay.tld will they oblige you? If so, simply install and configure Postfix and Dovecot POP on your help desk box and configure them appropriately to deliver the emails to a local mailbox, either mbox or maildir. Since your application currently uses POP, you'd simply have Dovecot's POP daemon listen on localhost:143 and have your application POP that port on localhost. -- Stan
