Well how abt just removing the flash plugin.
see about:plugins - in url bar.

you should get a listing like

    File name: libflashplayer.so
    Shockwave Flash 7.0 r25

MIME Type Description Suffixes Enabled
application/x-shockwave-flash Shockwave Flash swf
        Yes
application/futuresplash FutureSplash Player
        spl Yes

then look for libflashplayer.so & delete it where ever u find it,
typically in ~/.mozilla/plugins or ~/.firefox/plugins

if its in /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plugins - removing it will remove
for all users.
