Well, of course you do. That's the problem with all these highly
contentious threads - nobody is prepared to be convinced that their
viewpoint is anything but the one true way of looking at things.
I've been around long enough to recognize that the world isn't that
simple. I've quite a bit of experience with close family members
who do *not* respond to the kind of approach that obviously works
for people you know. Throwing people in at the deep end is not
the only way to teach people to swim (and has some rather nasty
consequences for those who do best with a little more assistance).
I'm not suggesting that you have to do things my way - All I ask in
return is that you stop trying to convince the rest of the world that
your way is the single best way, and would work well for everybody.
