That said I like to consider constant f/4 as being consumer and
constant f/2.8 as being semi-pro/pro ;) I know, more like wishful
thinking :D
I'd second that. For starters, 200/4 would probably auto focus faster
than 200/5.6...
I should say that I held in my dirty hands Canon 70-200/4 L and this
lens weighs just order of 250 gram more than my F70-210. Yet the Canon
is considerably better optic. I do admit I paid for my lens 15 times
less than the (happy) owner of the Canon ;-).
Still, I agree with Thibouille.
