I assume that whatever the left thinks of the Maduro government, it is in effect offering critical support to it staying in office but demanding that it reverse course and fight the right wing and US imperialism rather than surrender power to them. It likely thinks with good reason that it could not otherwise expect to rally the masses. Is that correct, and if so, has the left opposition inside and outside of the PSUV been having some success in moblilizing the party base against Maduro's shift to the right? Would appreciate links to any articles which address these tactical questions.
