Stalin, Hoxha, and Trotsky would make for interesting dinner time conversation, as would the question of when a closed Leninist circle should “unfurl its banner”, so to speak, and present itself to the working class as a full-fledged party. We’d likely find ourselves in friendly disagreement here. However, if.my reading of your position on the Democratic Party Question is correct, I can’t discern any meaningful differences. Because of its immediacy,, the issue has raised the temperature on this list and more broadly on the left among those who otherwise agree there is little difference on fundamental questions of domestic and foreign policy separating the leaders of the liberal and conservative parties and coalitions jointly entrusted with administering the capitalist system.
