It's not terrible advice. Google is more likely to filter to spam folder
from IPv6 addresses. Enough of us have seen it to know we're putting the
puzzle pieces together correctly. People have been crying that IPv4 is
depleted for well over a decade and ARIN just ran through a bunch of the
wait list yesterday. Market conditions are simply not equal to the
fantasies of IPv6 fanboys.

While IPv6 is not perfect, it is less bad than keeping IPv4 alive.
IPv4 addresses were exhausted over ten years ago in some registries.
It's time to move on. Eventually even email will have to start
running over IPv6.
[I also consider IPv6 to be a better protocol, but that discussion
isn't worth having again, certainly not on this mailing list.]
