I want to return to an old issue, which repeatedly happens again and again,
that is, Google putting emails from me to recipient's spam folder.

Well, this is getting more and more ridiculous and annoying at the same
time.

Until now Google put messages from me to recipients' spam folder, but at
least accepted them. Today I sent a few messages to people *whom I regularly
correspond with* and I got "421" rejects with an explanation "Our system has
detected that this message is suspicious due to the very low reputation of
the sending domain."

It's YOU, GOOGLE, who made me that "low reputation" by consistently putting
my messages to spam. Now you are blocking me because of "low reputation"
that you made yourself.

I am absolutely mad at this. Google should be burnt or blown up. They are
doing harm to the Internet more than spammers are.

Turn off IPv6 ;)

No, we are right to demand more from certain providers..

(Not going to turn this into a rant about how the spam folder is filled with obvious spam from gmail, I promise, even though I am busting to report on some statistics)

Was thinking of a blog, about how the internet is broken, effectively because of the 'too big to block' providers, and the direction they are taking the internet.

Now I hear cloud flare is going to start doing email filtering ;) Oh joy, all for the sake of (actually, the excuse to do what they want to do) privacy... where everything will go through the 'too big to block' networks, and no one else will be able to operate. And what will they do with all that data.. and the ability to privately see everything you do.

Pretty soon EVERYTHING will go through 'too big to block' networks, DNS, VPN, email.. until governments step in, but maybe they like the direction things are heading.. feel free to quote some George Orwell here. And what doesn't go directly through their networks is being shared directly with them already.. where you car is, where your phone is, who you call, what sites you visit.

And it is getting to a tipping point, pretty soon the 'too big to block' will start rejecting everyone else, or making it more inconvenient, so you or your customers end up throwing in the towel, and moving to their services..

The Internet is quickly devolving into silo's, China, Russia, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Facebook...

I know.. very off topic, but the point is that we can't solve this on mailop, you need to start lobbying if you want anything to change, and not on this list, but with your government representatives..

I think we can expect more 4xx and 5xx from the too big to block, and less attention to threats coming from their own networks, as it serves their long term purpose of killing competition, and total data collection on user activity.

END OF RANT!
