I have been following this the whole time so I have seen it already
long time back
the last paragraph says.
" If I am mis-understanding the license I appologize, but my view of
this dispute is that Linux developers are unethically and immorally,
but quite legally doing to BSD Licensed code pretty much what the
BSD License allows them to."
Ask Eben why they stopped doing it if it was legal?
Certainly they stopped not because of ethical concerns because when
ethical concerns were brought in they mocked those people and said
"they dont care!"
"it is legal for us to do this! if you want to protect your cide
change the licence"
But then why without changing a bit of the BSD licence suddenlt Eben
and his mob stopped what they were doing?
This gentle man in his thread himself confesses he does not know much
about licencing! So what to read? what point from it are you
highlighting?
