Siju, A doubt.
Why exactly are you saying that GPL is "all take and no give back," while the GPL advocates reuse and derivative works? The only loop that GPL maintains is that, if you make upon GPL'd code, it should also be given back in the same license conditions. Aren't it the strength of GPL, where as BSD licensed code can be used and stolen, ie, there is no clause that one should give it back. I admire the dedication of BSD guys. But I do not admire the fact that even proprietary companies can use that free code and make the derivative non free.
