As this list is specific to FLOSS we must advocate the use of softwares made in similar lines. so "presentations must not talk/promote/mention/discuss about proprietary software unless it becomes totally impossible to continue the topic without discussing" . is fine. :) . what I understand is - It doesnt man you will get killed by talking about ntkernel ;but it simply means..hey we are a bunch of people who would like to listen about FLOSS..so be sure that you tell us about it and not about Meg ryan! About BSD and GPL licensing ; I am a sysadmin and I dont feel or need to understand the difference much :) . Maybe its a different case with the programmers.
