They go to the right in RtL document, AFAIK. However, fleqn is "Flush Left EQuation". The equations are not flushed down nor flushed out. Maybe the UI could tell: [x] center equations for the default and [ ] center equations for left-align or right-align. Unfortunatly, the mathindent value does not fit in this picture. So it might be better: [ ] align equations indentation [default] Günter
