I agree this is obvious for an advanced user, that is used to read lists and watch installation processes, but not for a lay user. For a lay user they are lots of nonsense endless words displaying in the monitor. I still prefer the dummy progress bar with a button "Show details" as many other installers already do. And, if the progress can be predicted by the name of the packages, the way better is to try to use this info to calculate the right position for the progress bar. Cheers, --- Diego Queiroz
