Later on I let MikTeX update itself and then let LyX reconfigure itself (took an awful long time btw). Having done that, LyX then found scrbook...

But I'm not able to actually vie the User's Guide as PDF. I get a latex error saying "LaTeX Error: File 'floatflt.sty' not found.".

Is my computer having a bad day or is this typical? (I would have expected floatflt.sty to come with MikTeX, or that the User's Guide wouldn't use flaotflt.sty)

While trying to find this package, I tried updating MikTeX again, and it seems I only updated the core of MikTeX the last time. So now I'm letting it update all of it.

I looked around in MikTeX but couldn't figure out how to install floatflt. (Actually, I think I didn't manage to find the package).

What should I do with above? Uwe, let me know if you need more details on what i've done. I can also try and repeat parts of it.
