Bezeq charges are ~350NIS+VAT per month. Installation is ~1000NIS+VAT
(this is on a discount now). I am not sure what will an ISP charge for
that (NV charged $400 per month in 1996 and prices dropped much since, but
mainly for bundles). As for hardware, the best thing you can do is ask
Bezeq to provide an EtherFrad. This box is a mini-router which connects to
the a 2603 modem on one side and has an 10Mb RJ45 on the other side. Get
yourself a cheap NE2000 card and a cross cable (1-3 2-6) and this should
do. Performace with a 64K (cir=0) is good and steady at least in my area
(example: 606640 bytes received in 81.69 seconds (7.25 KB/s))
