Go on then, find one email professing a love of his managerial expertise!

All the way through my stance has been that he aint the best but he has done
a decent enough job in terms of transfers and league position to date.

In my opinion, if he continues that trend of performing to (reasonable)
expectations then we will be pushing for automatic promotion this season.
The main caveat being that the clubs who came down perform as relegated
clubs normally do and struggle to cope with the new environment. Obviously
if any of them get off to a flyer, given their financial situation and that
a lot of their players have experience playing in the prem, we might well
not be in the race. In other words I don't think its reasonable to expect
us to run away with the league like reading and Sheff Utd did at the start
of last season, so if someone else does we will obviously be left behind
again. However, if that DID happen, I expect us to be a lot closer than
last year.

There aint a lot we can do if 2 teams run away with it all season, but if
someone does a Sheff Utd and drops back towards the end of the season I
expect us to be close enough to catch them this time around.

As I said at the end of last season, you'll find the expectations of you
anti Blackwell people and the rest of us will be pretty much the same this
season - unless you think we ought to be running away with the league this
season?

I think we all expect to be getting a similar amount of points as Sheff Utd
did last season, and I think we all expect some decent attacking football
this season - although the most important thing still is the result.

I think this could be an exciting season for us.

Mark,

No backtracking now. Your reputation is on the line
here. We can dig those old mails out stating your love
for Blackie's managerial expertise.

We're all going to see the results this season. DOn't
try and wriggle out of it.
