You still continue to miss the point old son.

The argument is who thinks Blackwell has 'done what it said on the tin' so
far, and therefore deserves a chance to go the final step.

Blackwell said right at the start, and Bates has since said that turning
Leeds back into a side to win promotion would take 3 years. That in
customer service speak is called 'managing expectations'. Its like being
diagnosed with cancer then being told by the consultant that he can make you
better, but its not going to be comfortable in the years in between because
the treatment isn't pretty.

Most of us accepted that diagnosis. Most of us were happy as larry that in
fact we weren't told 'sorry, theres no help, you will die'. So for us,
though the first season was difficult, losing to Rotherham and stuff, by the
end of it we were firstly grateful that we hadn't been relegated, or worse,
and second, because what was happening was exactly what we were told would,
we were reassured that the recovery was on plan.

Last season we were told that this stage in the recovery would see us turn
into a top 10 club. Again, it wasn't pretty, it was at times frustrating,
but we still never forgot we were alive, and the season finished exactly as
we were told it would a year before. Therefore the recovery was still bang
on track.

Why on earth at that stage, WHEN EVERYTHING HAS GONE TO PLAN, would you not
at least give the bloke a fucking chance to finish the job off?

Our club was in a unique position 2 years ago, no other fucker would touch
us with a barge pole, Blackwell showed faith in us, the fans. Normally I
would say sentiment has no place in football, but this time I disagree - he
deserves the chance, much like Vinny should have had the chance to play for
us in the 1st div after we got promoted.

But apart from all that, he gave us a 3 year plan to get us back into the
prem, the first 2 years have gone exactly to plan, so it makes logical sense
to stick by the bloke.

Simple as.
