Other than argue the toss about it, theres not a lot we can do at the end
of the day. I advocated your stance all last season, but then I took a
step back during that run in and thought "This guy looks to have gone as
far as he can" due to the negative tactics and misuse of personnel.
Instead of real;ly grasping the nettle and REALLY putting The Blunts under
pressure, we played a cagey game, hoping to nick leads and ... well it
just didn't happen. Players can adjust a game, potentially yes, but how on
earth could Rob Hulse change a game, starved of ball, on his own, marked
out of the game? How could Butler and Gregan change a game when they are
being put under pressure constantly and can do nothing but hump the ball
over the 5 man midfield? How can a 5 man midfield change a game if the
opposition and their own defence seem intent on missing them out of the
whoel game???
Anyway, the only aside KB will have noticed will have been Cuddly Ken's in
the aftermath of The Debacle. Basically, no more excuses. This had better
be it. To all intents and purposes, a very public written warning!
