No the point is that this season we progressed from last season, and if you extrapolate that into next season we will walk the league.
You were saying we hadn't moved on at all from last season. I can just about deal with negativity and whingeing, but the one thing you cannot argue with is the progress made from last season. Opinion doesn't come into it. Goals scored, goals conceded, number of wins, number of defeats, total points, league position - ANY kind of statistical analysis compared with the season before shows we were better. That means progress. As I said, its nothing to do with opinion, its fact. Opinions can be held on whether we should have progressed more this season, or if KB is the man to offer continued progress next season.. but that's it. Bates doesn't suffer fools, and if Blackwell doesn't progress next season he will be out, so I don't know quite what you lot are whingeing about. Worst case scenario for you is that he proves you wrong and we get automatic promotion. Best case scenario is he proves you right and gets the push.
