That was Miller, he could be seen to mouth 'fucking ell' and Hulse had a good laff at him about it.
Basically I think we have a good bunch of honest lads on the whole, and a decent manager. He's not a world beater, but then again nor are 99% of football managers. Made me laugh when someone on here proposed getting Dowie in as manager. Don't get me wrong, I like him and think he would do ok, but why don't people apply the same criteria for success to other managers? Dowie had a team straight out of the premiership, and had a current England international striker, was able to strengthen the side that got relegated, didn't have to sell anyone etc etc, yet they finished below us in the league and got beaten 3-0 at home to Watford a week or so previous.. > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:leedslist- > [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: 23 May 2006 13:45 > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [LU] Post-mortem > > The funniest bit of the whole afternoon was when one of our players (can't > remember who) had a "flashback from 'Nam" experience, and instinctively > ducked when one of the fireworks went off! > > Gaffer > > > _______________________________________________ > the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators > accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors. > Leedslist mailing list > [email protected] > http://list.zetnet.co.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
