Now you really are talking out of your @rse.

You are telling me there is no difference between a team who, for the sake
of argument, finished 10pts clear in 3rd but lost the playoff final, and a
team who finished 4th from bottom by winning their last game of the season?

This year we had the winner clear by miles, the second placed team
comfortably clear also (thanks to their start of the season). You then had
the next 4 teams comfortably clear of the rest. You then had Wolves who
were clear in 7th, 8th to 21st separated by 13 points, and the bottom 3
comfortably adrift.

There is not SO LITTLE between the sides. The team in 9th (Norwich) lost
twice as many games as Leeds and you are saying there was nothing between
the sides!!!

Of course we have moved on from last season;

We won 7 more games and lost 4 fewer.
We scored 8 more goals and conceded 14 fewer. That's a 22 goal difference.
We got 78 points rather than 60 points. That's 18 points more.
We finished 5th and not 14th, that's 9 places higher.

If we have the same improvement next season we will walk the league.

Not possible you say? Is it REALLY that unrealistic to think we might beat
the worst 4 teams in the league home and away? If we did that, and had the
same results against the other sides, we would walk the league.
