Thanks for the reply. Jeff pointed out my error at assuming that when
they said
"3)Up to four thermocouple channels for EGT and CHT probes, fully
programmable"
I took it to mean I could do both. They said "AND" when they should
have said "OR". "AND" is inclusive, "OR" is exclusive.
With the instruments capabilities now understood I'll probably let the
sleeping dog lie.
