At this point, it looks like MVN. If anybody else is going to volunteer to host it elsewhere, it would be prudent to give the attendees a pitch now, so we can research the location ourselves, rather than be caught off guard guessing that it will work out. For that reason, I'm assuming that the MVN default will win again next year, and I encourage somebody to consider hosting it elsewhere for 2019... Mark Langford

I recall hearing at one of the recent Gatherings someone mentioning interested in hosting a Gathering in Oklahoma. I don't recall now the person(s) or the location. While Mt.Vernon is certainly an ideal location and would be welcomed with open arms, I'm not sure if I'm up to hosting another Gathering. I think 10 may have been my limit. There is no reason it could not be hosted by a non-resident as Chris and crew would go out of their way to help. I'm sure that Rob would agree , given his efforts to host this year, that 9 more would be a bit overwhelming. I'll admit it was a kind of "fun work" hosting but it was work. Anyway, tradition is to vote on next years location at this years Gathering so anyone wanting to host a Gathering should get their act together and make a presentation at the Gathering and put the word out now for consideration.
