No, my carb intake area on the lower cowl is not sealed to the filter. It has
been a thought of mine as it occurred to me after looking at other KR's at the
gathering. Some of the KR's at the gathering which had cold air intakes simular
to mine had some type of tubular runner sealing them. One even appeared to have
baffle material as a way to seal off the opening. I was obviously not getting
around or able to get down low to crawl around in look real well with my foot
in a device and crutches.
I think the carb area intake not being sealed off is a great point. I could see
how that could greatly disturb the lower cowling air and therefore raise the
pressure.

Jeff. Is your Carb air intake sealed to the air filter so as not to let
any of that air into the lower cowel at all?
