My comm antenna is built into the vertical stabilizer (see http://home.hiwaay.net/~langford/antennas.html ), and my ELT antenna is 6 feet further forward two bays behind the aft spar. Does that qualify? The transponder antenna is 18" aft of the ELT antenna, but that's supposed to be plenty for the high frequency it operates at.
