Hi, Helaine,
Like Jenn, I only meet part of your "requirements" :)

Vegan: No, sorry. Ovo-lactic vegetarian.
Greenie: Does this mean environmentalist? If so, yes.
Hippie: Some of the ethics, otherwise no.
Queer: Nope, sorry, straight and in a relationship.
Geek: Yes. It's terminal, I'm afraid :)
The point is, why must someone meet all of these criteria to be a good partner?
OK, the queer part *has* to match, but the rest can be close. To me, every
relationship is about give and take.
One of my Dad's cousins married a vegetarian. He doesn't eat meat at home, and
she prepares strictly vegetarian meals. Outside, he does what he wants. Two of
their three kids chose to be vegetarian, one did not. They are still very happily
married, and are a really good couple.
IMHO, we shouldn't look for perfection because we won't find it. I *never*
dreamed I'd go out with a guy who was 16 inches taller than me. It was really
intimidating at first. OTOH, so much else about him is *so* right...
Take care,
Caity
