Please forgive the low content in this response but:

That is a WONDERFUL statement of the point - thank you for analysing WHY
we get upset - and I hope you don't mind (please) if I use this explanation
myself in the future. Because I'd never actually managed to analyse it to 
this level, and it's so RIGHT!!
