Actually, both of you are right, because all what Joerg said is true,
and yes..  the PS3 version will be licensed by his authors in a
different license than GPL  (his authors are Id Software, Lord Havoc
and others) so the GPL is not to apply here.

wen you are the author of a game/app and you are developping a open
source proyect, you are free to make a closed source fork (since you
are the author)
