Dear Amit,

Thanks for the much needed advice.

>Call them !

Infact they are calling us now as we have already sent them a letter saying that
unless they finalise the rent within next few days we would dismantle everything. My
CEO was very angry with the situation. But I tried to negotiate as my aim was to get a
better connection for the children. From this thread it appears that should not be a
viable option at all. We had to surrender the ISDN connection as the modem was not
getting enough voltage from MTNL ISDn line, now we have shifted to Dial-Up but lost 3
modems within 2 weeks as there is too much voltage in the normal telephone line. It's
such a sad story that I could not help but telling you all these. In our main office
we are using VSNL dial up connection for the Linux Server there and all other
Deepalaya offices from around Delhi are connecting to it to get the facility of both
INTRANET and Internet : we are happier than our school children.

It would be of great help if you can tell us how much they give rent. As far as space
is concerned they have taken a particular roof - but the instrument itself takes at
the most 4 sq. ft.

Thanks again.
