Indeed, they probably won't. Which is exactly why it might be better to have those old implementations continue stripping signatures they're breaking.


On the other hand, there is MTA software that looks for the DKIM-Signature header field without regard to versions or keys, but only to disable any rewriting that might corrupt verification.
