Ah, okay.  So basic tagging. :)

Yep.

To take an HTMLish, or Wikiish view, everything inside a <code> tag
could be passed through a parser...  Although something written to
intentionally show a mistake/bug would get improperly rejected.

I'd like to put in a vote for basic syntax highlighting as well.  I can
offer up a set of regexes I've used for one of my editors.
