Not exactly true. The RSLs don't get cleared from the Flash Player Cache. Ever. Once they are downloaded and verified, they are there forever. The signing is baked into the Flash Player, and is matched with the RSL certificate on the SWZ files that Adobe signs for us. For current versions of the Flash Player, Adobe can't simply break our apps. Future versions may not honor the signed RSLs, and force it to be downloaded, once per session, instead of once per lifetime.
You store the Adobe signed RSLs on your own server, not Adobe's. This will not change. Non-signed RSLs get cached on a per-session basis. They can be cleared.
