Erm... using Chrome as a standalone player? You aren't serious, are you? There are different security models to begin with, but not only that, there are limitations inherent to testing inside the browser, such as the framerate, the browser's display life cycle etc. Besides, the best browser is w3m, and I dare you to say "no" ;) But here we are again at the point of "why is Adobe doing it for us, and it's doing it bad, while outsourcing it for free would do it better". Mozilla doesn't want to support Pepper API - so... yeah, let someone who wants to run Flash in Mozilla to write the adapter. It's like in that joke about a man who liked apples (the fruits): once asked would he eat an apple, he agreed, and when asked would he eat a dozen at a time, he still agreed, when asked would he eat a whole dozen pounds of apples he said that that might be too much for him, but whatever he cant eat, he will, at least bite one time... Re' porting Flex to JavaScript. If this was some kind of a poll - I'm not really interested. Not that I would tell anyone off doing that, it's just I've no particular interest in porting Flex framework code into JavaScript. I am interested in that AS/Flash opensource utilities continued to exist. Best. wvxvw
