Good Evening,

There will be a CME near miss on February 3rd.  The sun was almost spotless yesterday.  The unbroken streak was saved by a large spot rotating into view.  Today there are more spots showing.  Those spots are ready for more flare activity.  Solar flux is up too; I expect a high level of hissing tomorrow.

There was a light dusting of snow this morning.  It melted and has not been replaced.  The forecast was for four inches.  There is some precipitation but it is too warm to snow.  Maybe tonight and into next week.

Please join us on (or near):

7047 kHz at 0100z Monday  (5 PM PST Sunday)
