Hi Dave, I think Ian's project should not be a problem since It's like the "Flex" name, it could be as well choose for someone to start a project and nobody could obligate him to change it. But "Apache Flex" is not the same, there will be trademarks problems. If not, the marketing world would collapse itself since I'm sure almost all names are chosen.
