Could your DataBindingTest be old code? If you are using the nightly build, MyInitialView shouldn’t be using mx:State anymore. Check the latest DataBindingTest code in the examples folder.
Otherwise, I’m trying to figure out how to determine which flex-config.xml it picked up. Maybe edit the .bat file to remove echo-off so we get more output?
