Dort wird »the Epoch« (großgeschrieben) mit Unixzeit übersetzt. Die ist 
allerdings hier nicht gemeint. Das Wörterbuch schlägt Epoche oder 
Zeitraum vor. Ersteres assoziiere ich eher mit geschichtlich 
zusammenhängenden Zeiten. Ich werde daher hier den Zeitraum lassen.

Den Rest habe ich übernommen. Vielen Dank.
