The original had Mogo3K as light, IIRC, so Fuego 3K should be light, too.
I would put the 10K versions as heavy. This leaves too much space between instances, so I will start 300, 3K and 30K instances also. If the full range of instances are all running, then there will be a Fuego every ~150 rating points from ~1850 to ~2600. I will also fill in the Mogo family by adding a 10K instance and a 1K instance. That will spread five Mogo instances evenly from ~1900 to ~2350. I considered dropping the final K, but one might actually want to run an instance with 100 trials. So I think dropping the first - is best: Fuego0.4.1-100K,p is 17 characters. If you want to do a million trials, use Fuego0.4.1-1M Brian -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Brian Sheppard Sent: Sunday, August 28, 2011 8:26 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Computer-go] Fuego standard opponent on CGOS How about the following: The "comma" instance named Fuego-0.4.1-1K uses the following rules: go_param_rules capture_dead 1 go_rules cgos uct_param_player ignore_clock 1 uct_param_player ponder 0 uct_param_player reuse_subtree 1 uct_param_player max_games 1000 At a minimum, the standard should include 1K, 10K, and 100K instances. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Robert Finking Sent: Saturday, August 27, 2011 5:54 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Computer-go] Fuego standard opponent on CGOS Hi Guys, Thanks for picking this up. I've been meaning to post an update for a while. I tried to set up the Computer Go Wiki site so it is editable by anybody, but I'm not sure if that extends to the downloads. If one or more of you wants permissions for updating the downloads on the site please shout and I'll happily add you to the list of members. Whilst I'm writing, thanks to whoever it was who repaired the site a month or two back when somebody defaced it with unwanted adverts. It was brilliant by the time I read the e-mail telling me somebody had defaced the site, some kind person had already spotted it and rectified the problem. Wikis work because people are great - thanks :-) http://computergo.wikispaces.com/CGOS+Standard+Engine+Packs Raffles On 25/08/2011 18:06, # van de Veerdonk wrote: > +1, > > Someone needs to also update the download site.
