Two short updates so you are not waiting on me silently.
**Issue 5**: leaving the `//` comment block as is, per your "feel free to
leave it". If you would rather keep the method Javadoc, say so and I will
restore a plain `/** ... */` block that spotless accepts.
**CI on de80d16**: the failed-job rerun did not start. The fork is currently
rejecting workflow dispatches with `HTTP 422: Actions has been disabled for
this repository` - the fork-side toggle I flipped earlier has been turned off
again - and run 41730993933 is stuck queued with zero materialised jobs: the
API reports it as queued, `gh run cancel` says it is already completed, and `gh
run rerun` says it is already running. So the green run you are waiting for
cannot be produced until that toggle is flipped again. I am on it and will post
the run link here the moment I can start one.
For the record, the evidence for the fix is already in that run before it
wedged: the part-8 log shows
JdbcMysqlSplitIT.testFixedStringSplitBoundsAreLocaleIndependent
successfully run
Tests run: 110, Failures: 0, Errors: 1
and the single error is the MetalakeIT container timeout you identified as
unrelated. So the fold assertion is green on real MySQL; the only red left in
that run is infrastructure.
