I am thinking of using it in the cockpit. It should be good for the dogs and cool on bare feet. (dogs naturally dig their claws in for more traction, which is the wrong thing on a boat. Their paw pads were literally the inspiration for the soles of boat shoes, but it isn't easy to teach dogs that)
