For mine, I purchased a large innertube, cut out a section large enough to
create a full wrap with about a third overlap.  Used large band clamps to
hold
it in place.  If you start at the top clamp and stretch the innertube roll
upwards (instead of down), clamp then pull the remainder down over the
clamp and
secure it to the bottom, it works pretty well.  I add a bit of black tape
around the top to cover the fold and create an easy path for water to get
over the fold.

I figure I have enough inner tube to do me out.  The current one has been
working well for the last 6 or so years.  No signs of it needing replacing.
