Edd — I suggest you call the guys at Edson Marine and talk with them about what 
engine you’ve got, etc.  I have the throttle (fore/aft)on the starboard side, 
and the shifter (up/down) on the aft side of the pedestal, like yours; I wanted 
to switch to both controls being fore/aft on either side of the pedestal, but 
that configuration would NOT work with the combination of engine and 
transmission on my boat, due to the throw of the controls.
