If I were starting from scratch I'd go that way too, but if I do the golf
cart batteries I'll use one of the 31s I already own as the starter.

If the wet cell golf cart batteries don't have a date on them I can use
them, otherwise I need to decide whether to spend $600 on 2 sealed golf
cart batteries or buy a sealed starting battery.
