FleaBay LEDs are usually cheap enough that you can get a few duds and still come out ahead. One of my less-than-good outcomes was making an “aquarium light” anchor light.  Aquarium light LEDs are sealed in silicone rubber waterproof strips. The danged thing was so bright the entire boat was lit up like daylight and every bug in the river showed up. The 1142s are 2 pin 2 contact bulbs used in a lot of cabin lights, but not common in cars.
