Hi Folks, I'm using kde 4.4.5 on a PC running Debian 6.0.1. Until a few days ago my desktop showed a task bar or panel containing icons upon which I could click to start the associated applications.
Unfortunately, I clicked on something I shouldn't have and my desk top now looks quiet different. Initially the desk top showed several Icons labelled "Internet" etc. After lots of effort I managed to get rid of all that so that the only icon on the desks top is "Applications Launcher", But the panel is gone and attempts to recover it by right clicking on the desk top and then clicking on " +Add panel" in the resulting window produce no response. Can anyone suggest how I could get back to my old desk top?
