I would give that a point also, if it were really a practical possibility. It is my preferred window manager. I have spent quite a bit of time developing Swing GUI applications on Linux under Enlightenment, plus some testing under KDE, XFCE. Swing looks okay, is highly usable, and gave me less issues than SWT for LaF under different window managers. When using the GTK LaF Swing can be tweaked with gtk-chtheme for a custom appearance, including to look fairly similar to KDE by using QtCurve. There are numbers of LaF for Windows (e.g., substance) that give a good selection/conformance.
