I was not going to join this conversation, but one of the messages in this thread made me say WTF??

Who decided that you are the designated Hall Monitor for BVARC, when you aren’t even part of it anymore? I joined BVARC just about 2 years ago, in the midst of a bunch of people trying to oust the current President and basically run the club ‘Their Way’. It almost turned me off then, and I see that the same nonsense is still being spewed by some individuals who just don’t like Mike Hardwick. Well, just like Donald Trump, he was elected to the position. If you don’t like it, there is no need to constantly spew vitriol about it. Run against him. If you win, run the club the way you want to. If you DON’T win, STFU. I consider Mike to be a friend, just as I do many of you, including Anthony, LIC.. Does not mean I have to agree with your views, nor you to mine. I have seen the work Mike does Vis a Vis’ the MS150, the HHamfest, as well as many other events over the years, all while having a REAL job that takes so much of his time. Does he let some stuff ‘slip by’? SURE. Which of us can claim they remember everything, all the time? Bottom line, if I were a new member, or a prospective member, knowing little about BVARC other than what is posted on this reflector, this thread, as well as the continuing personal attacks and hypocrisy I see here and over 2 years, would make me think twice about joining. You have a problem with someone, say it to their face, or in a private email. Your negative posts make the entire club look bad. Having a meeting cancelled at the last minute is NOT the end of the world. Just because it does not meet the exacting standards of the by-laws, no one on this reflector lost income, health, or family over it. This pissing match needs to end. My 2c.. As for the by-law you quoted, there is nowhere to put up a note for the Corresponding Secretary to let the members that want to attend the meeting know about the change. Also in the email that was sent there was no date and time for the meeting to be rescheduled. We, I mean Kori, Kirk and myself were in the BOD meeting till 5:22pm. As for your remarks on reprimanding people, that was the case. I was just asking a question and used facts to back it up. Terry, I look to you as a great friend. I feel that as a great friend we should be able to say things to the point, not beat around the bush. There was no tone in the message, just a question. If you took it that way then I am sorry. If I saw you doing something against what you told me or making the rules fit only for your benefit, then yes I would tell you something like a friend should. The RF and E-communications "Code-of-Conduct" you plan on bringing to the board should not silence a member or non member from wanting to ask questions. In no way, shape or form am I trying to look like a bad person. Like I said in the beginning of this message (I hold the BOD to a higher standard). John (KI5HOC), I am glad you are entertained. Micheal Amos, I am very sorry that your friend was pushed over the fence during the 2023 Hamfest meeting. I remember it well. I wish there was a way to maybe try again with you friend. There are some great people on Ham radio. I have met a few of them in this club and iI consider them to be great friends. Now for my last comment: To all the club members, the reflector is the best place to get your voice heard. As you can tell I have gotten a few responses to my question. I hope you all have read the whole story and not just a part of it, I would hate for y'all to miss any little detail. Please continue being the best ham operators you can be. I am not trying to cause discontent or angst in the club. As members you should be able to question any board member at any given time about what happened or what is happening. So again.... Someone please check the rules for the Goose and the Gander? By the way, I looked up the FCC and ARRL Organization Structures, but I still can not find the section named Saints.
