hello. While I'm not familiar with the specifics of Linux on the Raspberry Pi, what you're experiencing sounds like a classic problem of timing when things come up. I wonder, for example, if when brltty is started by the boot process, if it's coming up before the USB subsystem is fully initialized. What happens if you introduce a 10 second sleep before you start brltty at boot time? Is the behavior still the same? -thanks -Brian
