Ok. I felt that AR was reciting it because the lyricist sort of wanted the 
lyrics to be included forcefully.At first few listens, I didnt enjoy that 
section of the song and then kind of got used to it.

Another example that immediately comes to mind was Snegidhane from Alaipayuthe. 
The starting portion which goes 'Netru mun iravil'.
Another example from the same Alaipayuthe ..Yaro Yarodi ( chalka chlaka ) comes 
at 1:07 where the lines are hardly audible. the lines 
sounded something like 'igi bole ... inthiranar panthadika..'
After that the understandable portion would be 'Santhapottu Azhagiyaum'.the two 
lines in between were hard to understand.The problem was not the music or 
heavey intsruments but sort of  inappopriate tamil words picked for the tune.

Anyways, I always respect your opinion Fani and happy to have your views on
